EAC Training Course Successfully Held in Shanghai

    On 28th January 2010, Electronic Application Client System (EAC) training course organized by ACPAA was successfully held in Shanghai. Ms.Cao Lingling, Deputy Secretary-General of ACPAA, and more than 30 participants from 21 agencies attended this training course. ACPAA would like to thank Mr. Chen Zhixia, deputy director of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration and Mr. Hu Guohua, secretary of Shanghai Patent Industry Associations, for their great support of this EAC training.


    To start with, Ms. Cao,Deputy Secretary-General of ACPAA gave an opening speech about ¡°To Preach and Apply the Electronic Application¡±. Ms. Cao further emphasized that ¡°further promote the electronic application and increase application scale, which would enable a better understanding of the convenience of the EAC, familiar with EAC and use it in practice as soon as possible and efficiently standardize the management processes of the agencies to achieve the agencies electronization. The training instructors who from Great Wall Software introduced EAC installation, data backup, basic functions and related procedures in detail. ACPAA staff helped the agencies temporarily set up running environment. They also resolved various kinds of problems, which arouse at the field installation during the system testing period.
    According to the ACPAA work arrangements, there will be several EAC training courses held across the country, which aim to increase application and training of the EAC throughout the country, improve the agencies¡¯ professional skills on patent commissioning, so as to promote and finally realize development ofpatent agency business towardstandardization, informationization and paperless office.
